Farm Your Way with the Advanced Acre® Rx Program

Grower and their advisor examine corn plants in a field.

Farming is a risky business. With uncertain environmental conditions, fluctuating markets and dynamic biological systems, some days it can feel like a gamble. But, with data-backed recommendations and local agronomy experts supporting your plans, you’ll be better positioned to weather those uncertainties. Let’s take a closer look at how these prescriptions work.

What is the Advanced Acre® Rx (AARx) Program?

The Advanced Acre Rx (AARx) Program is a proven agronomic program that applies a systems approach to crop management. The program is designed to suit farmers who value choice in their management decisions and want to optimize yield potential while mitigating risk.

If you’re hesitant to try new production practices or products because of the risk involved, AARx could be a good fit for you. You’ll get customized product recommendations, and if those recommendations don’t result in positive yield outcomes, you may be eligible for money back.

How does AARx Work?

AARx puts you in the best position to unlock each acre’s full return-on-investment (ROI) potential. Growers who exceeded their targets had an average yield increase of 15.7 bu/A in corn and 3.1 bu/A in soybeans above warranty thresholds which range from 95 to 100% of crop insurance Approved Yields— leading to an ROI of $36 per acre and $4.50 per acre, respectively.1

The program has two different plans, Elite Rx® and Impact Rx™:

  • Elite Rx is a full-season prescription plan. It is customized based on your product preferences and agronomic needs. Working with your local agronomist, you will create a plan including a combination of seed selection, in-furrow, and foliar products with the ability to adjust it throughout the season, if needed. WinField® United provides the data and insights to help make the best decisions and shares the risk of crop production through a service warranty.*
  • Impact Rx is a focused prescription program for a high-impact agronomic decision, such as a fungicide application. Impact Rx is more targeted than Elite Rx, backed by your local agronomist.

About Elite Rx

The Elite Rx option is our flexible full-season plan. It includes a comprehensive agronomic recommendation tailored to your farm, backed by rigorous data and testing. Elite Rx is an a la carte service offering that allows you to mix and match products from different manufacturers to create a customized in-season management program. Elite Rx has several tiered service offerings with different yield thresholds that allow you to choose the prescription that will best optimize your ROI potential. Each tiered level includes services and products that enable you to match in-season management to your yield goals.

There are several benefits of enrolling in Elite Rx, for example, you get:

  • Data-backed recommendations and local agronomic support to guide in-season management.
  • Flexibility to mix and match products based on your production practices and budget
  • A la carte service recommends options that would be a good fit for your acres, allowing you to focus on the best products for your situation.
  • A service warranty which reimburses farmers for the cost of services and some input costs if certain predetermined yield thresholds aren’t met.

How does the service warranty work?
When you enroll in the Elite Rx prescription service, we’ll use your field’s crop insurance historical yield information to set your yield target. Depending on which coverage level you enroll in, you’re eligible for a service warranty if the prescription doesn’t meet your approved yield target. The service warranty covers the plan costs and some input costs if you follow your customized plan through the season. The comprehensive program gives you the confidence to make the right agronomic and economic decisions for your farm by sharing your risk.

About Impact Rx

In contrast, Impact Rx is structured as a more focused offering compared to a broader, full-season management program, allowing growers to strategically address key crop protection decisions with targeted support. Impact Rx has two main programs: a plant health ROI option and a seed and multiple modes of action (MOA) option.

The plant health ROI track includes:

  • Fungicide selection and adjuvant pairing.
  • Application timing based on hybrid or variety.
  • Service warranty based on approved yield*.
  • Available for corn and soybeans.

The seed and multiple MOA track includes:

  • Data-backed seed choice for your acres.
  • Two mode of action residual product and two adjuvant selection.
  • Service warranty based on approved yield.*
  • Available for soybeans only.

How are recommendations generated?

Whether you choose Elite Rx or Impact Rx, you will receive agronomic recommendations from your local trusted advisor. Your advisor has access to more than 6 million data points generated from the WinField United Answer Plot® program. Our extensive network of Answer Plot trial locations allows us to assess the performance of products locally, regionally and nationally across a wide range of environmental conditions. With that knowledge, your advisor has the confidence to prescribe products with known consistency and reliability on field conditions like yours.
