Set yield goals appropriately and feed plants to help achieve your highest yield goals.
The optimal plant population for winter wheat affects many factors, primarily yield.
With 16 years of experience in soft red winter wheat, WinField has committed extensively to a renewed focus on wheat research and development. We believe the wheat industry is poised to gain a significant yield trend through the adoption of new, marker-assisted breeding and hybrid innovations, along with more intense and precise management practices.
WinField is dedicated to facilitating positive changes in wheat technologies and helping farmers benefit from these innovations. As part of this effort, we have expanded our trials of CROPLAN® wheat seed in the East. We now have testing at more than 16 sites and four of them are input management locations.
2014–2015 Answer Plot® trial results compared the top three CROPLAN® soft red winter wheat varieties to the top three competitor varieties. This map shows how CROPLAN® seed outperformed competitors in each region.
High-performing CROPLAN® seed is backed by the expertise and insights to help you reap maximum yield potential from each field. By handpicking seed from the industry's best genetics, we offer a broad selection of hybrids and varieties specially adapted to local conditions. Our elite germplasm is combined with the latest traits and technologies to help you meet the specific challenges in each area of the field, no matter what conditions you face.
